Decision time. Not that I'll follow the winner, but what do you think I should do?

Stay in Australia for 2 more years after October
Quit in Oct and try to find a job in the Heartland
Leave in Oct and go back to wherever my company has a job for me
Find somewhere more remote to live (is that possible?)
