Buy up stocks while they're cheap
Hoard aluminum foil and eat ramen
Downsize your house and/or pawn some needless things

Criticize the government, and expect change

Stand on the corner with a "the world is ending" sign
Set up a tree fort in the mountains, and shoot trespassers
