If you borrowed a large amount of money ($7500) from a close friend and then found yourself unable to pay it back at until way later in the future. What would you do?

Call and tell them so sorry I don't think I can ever pay this back?
Let them take you to court and explain to the judge your hardship?
Just run?
Send them $10 a month so that you are at least making some payment?
