In reference to the LGBTQ community, how do you feel about the use of "gay and transgender" in the media?

It's strategic and a good idea.
It's strategic but not preferable.
It's a good idea for "mainstream" publications but should not be used by LGBTQ organizations or publications.
It's assimilationist and shouldn't be used.
