What are your thoughts on High School Pep Rallies?

They were a waste of time and only glorified Football and Cheerleading without representing the rest of the school.
I hated going to them then, but am nostalgic now.
They were a fun way to spend the afternoon, instead of going to class.
They were the greatest thing ever!
Pep Rally? What pep rally? I was too ____ to rememeber.
