How much preparation do you take for Valentine's Day?

Start planning the day after New Years - It's a big day!
The week before - Flowers, Dinner, Romance
Call FTD and make reservations a few days before.
Pick up flowers/chocolates on the way home from work
Ask that night where we are going to dinner.
Ask that night IF we are going to dinner.
I feel bad the next day hearing everyone's stories.
