i) Influence of other buyers of the same item. You will buy as they are buying now.
ii) Company funamentals (P/E, NAV, Dividend history etc)
iii) Technical Analysis
iv) Taking the advantage of sale panic of others.
v) To bring your costing of that item down. (Averaging)
vi) To get the dividend
