They have poor scientific knowledge and simply believe what they are told by deceitful MMGWT advocates.
They know it is a lie, but want to use it as a means of intimidating the public in paying additional taxes.
They have promoted the idea so much that they are afraid of admitting they got it wrong.
They have their head buried in the sand.
