Bigger is better. Keep growing it out.
Remove that furry animal from your face immediately
Trim it to something serious and keep it (i've always wondered if i could pull off a goatee)
Trim it to something ridiculous (like a hulkstash) for a bit and then move on to number 2
Secret option (aka stubble, dye it pink, etc. explain in the comments)
