Why doesn't Johnny takes his car to the scrapheap?

The scrapheap has no use for this car
He tells everybody that it is a piece of ... but secretly admires it
He is saving for a new Mercedes convertible.
The Evil car has taken over his mind and controlling his thoughts without him knowing it.
He’s is just to damn lazy.
He thinks that this car will one day be a classic (very valuable)
Who cares....
