Getting it right during learning disability week

Barking and Dagenham Council and the charity Mencap are supporting Learning Disability Week which starts on 21 June at the Tulip Cafe - Barking Learning Centre.

The varied week of events, which runs until 27 June, is being organised by the Advisory Partners Barking and Dagenham self advocacy group

The launch will feature works by members in the community with a learning disability including the Gateway Club art and photography group, the Art Blanche project and the Mencap art group. A conference will be taking place during the day.
