If your 16 year old son got a lip piercing against your mutual agreement and best advice, what would you do?

Get him to take it out by rational discussion.. not working so far!
Get his dad to get him to take it out (2 rents is an Army!)
Gulit him to tears (i already did, that hasn't worked)
Allow him to keep it and take the consequences himself re: school, jobs etc..
Take punitive measures, thumb screws, the rack, or deprivation of internet
