Independant - gay and lesbians should not be allowed to marry or enter civil unions of any kind.
Yes - Republican oppose gay marriage / civil union / on any basis.
Yes - Republican oppose gay mariage but ok with civil union / domestic partnership rights.
No - Republican - gay and lesbians should have exactly the same rights as straight people.
Yes - Democrat gay and lesbian couples should have the same rights as straight people
Yes - Democrat - civil unions are OK but it should not be called marriage.
