Why do you think that typically, we have more men in the shop than women and more male followers on Facebook and Twitter than female?

Simply, it is less likely for a woman to like cycling than a man
Women feel intimidated online and in store because they feel it is a male dominated sport/environment
Women's involvement (to the current degree) is relatively recent and so it will even out over time
