Edinburgh Parkrun Personality of the Year

2012 saw a real increase in our attendance figures giving us an average of 264 over the year. We only had three events which saw attendances in the 100's with 9 realising 300 plus. We broke our attendance record twice too, first to 356 in January and then to the current record of 379. Looking forward to what this January brings.

Despite poor weather throughout the year our Core Team had the luxury of not having to cancel any of our events to date although who knows what lies round the corner. Don't listen to the Mayan's, doom-mongers!

Anyway, it’s a big machine that goes to work on a Saturday and in the lead up to. Up to October we saw 301 parkmates who volunteered 887 times and had it not been for their hard work and industry then none of what you involved yourself in would have happened.

We have decided this year to ask all of those who have liked this page to vote on who you may consider to be the Edinburgh Parkrun Personality of the Year. You decide who you wish to vote for just by entering up a name. You can only vote once and voting for yourself is just daft.

Thinking caps on and vote with your, well, vote I guess!

P.P.S. Voting is not anonymous and that candidates need not have to be core team, volunteers or regulars but anyone voters feel worthy. Candidates’ names will appear on the roll once they have been voted for then others just vote beside that name so if you don't see who you're looking for then just nominate them.
