If you are a Westerner, how do you feel about children in other cultures addressing older stranger by titles of 'sister', 'brother', 'uncle', or 'aunt'?

Absolutely unnecessary and degrading, a sign of inferiority complex.
It should be used only within family members or close friend's children.
I don't expect of it, but nevertheless feels good when addressed by title.
All children in the world should be educated to address someone with title.
Never thought of this issue
