What stops you from purchasing an Electric Vehicle?

I would surely purchase an Electric Vehicle
I prefer to use the public transport
They are expensive in my region
They are not available in my region
They are slow / less powerful
Fuel is very cheap in my country and i wouldn't want to pay more for the sake of being green
Unless I have a solar charging station, I feel that would add up to a huge electricity bill
