When it comes to receiving samples, as a consumer what size do you feel is appropiate for you to experience the product before you would make a decision to purchase a product based solely on the sample you received?

I need to try the product at least 1 time to know for sure.
I need to try the product more than once so a minimum of 2 uses is what I need from a sample.
Small and simple works for me, even if I don't get to experience the full extent of the product from it. I can still tell if I will like it or not.
Samples don't impact my decision in any way about products I purchase.
