"Hypothetically" One of your "friends"... has a hissy fit and calls you on the phone and de-friends you on FB. Yet he continues to be friends with your Spouse and makes comments on their page.

Let it go. Life is full of drama llamas
Text the person and tell them that if they do not want to be friends with you on or off FB that they should go ahead and delete your spouse as well.
Who CARES!
Let it cool down... Talk to him later if you care for the relationship, if not let it go. I love it whe negative people self select themselves out of my life.
Let them know you and your spouse are a team and that your spouse will be unfriending them until restoration is made. Doing only one spouse on purpose is a divisive move and shouldn't be tolerated
