Do you think the trend of Private Security replacing Municipal Police is a good or bad idea?

Its a good idea and needed due to the economic realities some small communities face.

Its a bad idea because Private Security doesn't have the needed training or controls in place.

I would be for it, as long as the Private Security consisted of retired Police Officers or former military.

Its bad, period.

I don't know if its bad or good.
