"Oh, Pat" was sung at my wedding!
I pinned my badge to my bouquet or dress!
I incorporated irises into my flowers!
I made my colors blue and blue!
Wore a blue enameled fleur de lis pin borrowed from a Kappa friend. It was my "something borrowed" and my "something blue." Will always remember Jackie Purnell Moseman (Gamma Psi- Maryland)!
I had wall sconces with fleur de lis on them for flowers
Oh pat at the reception and we did our chant
My kappa bridesmaids all wore their keys and at the reception, all the kappas in attendance stood around me in a circle and sang "On the Heart of Each Sister," then did a spirit circle (loud sequence of clapping/singing/chants!
I was married in the Kappa house at BGSU
I pinned my badge in my hair!
sang ritual song with sisters privately after ceremony
Key was something borrowed from a sister and I gave fleur de Lis favors to all the kappa guests
Bridal party prepared at the Chapter House and took pre-wedding picture there.
All the Kappas got in a circle around me & sang "on the heart of each sister"
Fleur de Lis decorations; Kappas sang "Lovely Girl" to me at reception
We had a mystic circle, going around the circle and saying things about the bride followed by "proud to be a kappa". We also serenaded the bride with The Bong song. (All of this was obviously done private!)
Sung garden of flowers with all the kappas that were there.
Wore a Sapphire necklace and earrings
Nothing. It's a wedding not a college social.
