I confirmed with the DMV that my defensive driving course could reduce points, or signed up through the DMV.
I took a Defensive Driving Course online without checking with DMV.
I took a Defensive Driving Course at my local library / community center without checking with the DMV.
I already had a few points on my license before taking the course.
I took the course after a ticketed offense date, but before the conviction date so no points were on my license yet.
I had no points on my license when taking the course, but was only ticketed for an offense after the course :(
The ticketed offense was serious enough that I was in danger of license suspension without reduction.
I was not in danger of license suspension, even without reduction.
The course removed some points off my license! :)
