Micro-generation of energy (solar panels, small-scale hydro, wind, geothermal, etc) could have a huge impact on our energy needs in the future.

Canadian government should allow and facilitate all Canadians/corporations to generate non-combustible energy and feed that power back into the power grid. The government should reduce red-tape and other hurdles to micro-generation, and require that all energy is credited at the same rate that energy is charged for conventional providers.

I do not think micro-generation of power is a viable environmental strategy for Canadians.
