Organisations are increasingly focusing on hiring and retaining women in the workforce. What is your opinion on this?

Work place is an equal opportunity arena where the fittest should survive. Focusing specially on women's career growth is almost akin to reservations and I am completely against it.

Both men and women are required to bring balance to the workplace. Hence, in the best interests of the organisation, we need to ensure a good mix of genders to grow and stabilise. Hence, I am all for interventions if that that's what it takes to bring gender parity to the workplace.

It is important to have gender parity everywhere. However, organisational interventions cannot really help as it is about societal mindset changes. In a society that is really not evolved I don't see the point of organisational interventions. They only show women in a bad light and as a weaker sex.
