Announce Board meetings to the public using an effective medium (newspaper, social media, etc).
Make municipal water a publicly funded utility, as suggested by Commissioner Mike Hewitt in 2015.
Hold Board meetings at a more convenient time (instead of 3 pm on work days).
Have board members elected by the public every 2 years, instead of being appointed by the county.
Place a limit on rate increases.
Provide financial aid for water bills to low income families.
