The location was convenient; don't change it!

Hold the event on a Sunday.
Hold the event on a Saturday.
Don't change the time; 6pm - 9pm was great.
Have lunch instead of dinner; around noon - 3pm.
Have an early dinner; around 3pm - 6pm.
Lower the ticket price - it was a little too expensive for me.
The tickets were priced reasonably for this event.
