My wife never screws lids back onto jars (just places them on), and puts them back in the fridge/cupboard. As a result, when I go to pick them up from the top of the jars, the jar crashes to the floor and I'm left with the just the lid in my hand. How should this be solved?

A: I accept that lids will never be screwed on securely, and learn to pick them up accordingly?
B: My beautiful wife starts screwing the lids on properly after use?
