Where should Nikki and I go on our anniversary trip?

We are looking for things to do during the day (museums, tours) and also things to do at night (theater, games, etc.).
We've been to New York and Boston (only for 4 hours). We'd love to go back to New York because it was an incredible trip.
This will only be for a long weekend in May.
