Should we have 'gender neutral' schools uniforms, allowing girls to wear trousers, and boys to wear skirts, if they wish??

If you allow girls to wear trousers , boys should be allowed to wear shorts in summer if they wish . They do in Australia. Personally I’d rather girls wore girls uniform and boys boys . There should choice I think , not a yes or no vote.
Who says trousers are gender neutral? I believe it should be choice. I have daughters who hate wearing trousers so would be devestated if it was one uniform for all which consisted of trousers.
