Scam Artist/ Hustlers or legitimate Houston based Company Air Depot A/C. YOU Decide -- Sunday AC went out, Had a great AC company come out, replace two parts on unit outside and test lines, levels, pressure, and coil. AC company said everything is perfect on your 4 year old unit. It was 89 degrees inside, 2 hours later it was chilly. Called Carrier Monday because it's under warranty, they recommend the Company Air Depot to come out and check over. AC ran for 3 days and kept house cool at 73 degrees. Air Depot shows up Tuesday afternoon, spends 10 mins to 15 mins outside and then 20 seconds to 30 seconds in attic. Technician makes the old lady pay service fee and writes on work order that it would cost $1500 dollars to replace coil with hole and freon because it's not covered under warranty.
