Make semi-automatic firearms illegal
Ban high-capacity magazines
Limit the number of firearms an individual may own
Heavily tax ammunition
Discontinue open carry permits
Stricter background and mental health checks
Create a government firearms database
Fine/punish gun merchants for not doing their due diligence with background and safety checks
Invest more into mental health
Invest more into metal detectors for public spaces
Hopes and prayers
None - the country doesn't have a significant issue with gun violence
None - exchanging freedom for security is not worth it
None - to legislate any further gun control laws would be unconstitutional
None - criminals, by definition, do not obey the law
None - "bad guys" will still obtain guns illegally/on the black market
