We received our tax cut, now we're heading right back into debt. If you cut your income, you better cut your expenditures. Seeing as the President wants to increase spending on infrastructure, what programs here would you like to see cut in order to bring us back into balance and still get our infrastructure out of the 15th century, and not on track to lose (excuse me... borrow) $1T this year? Please vote, then explain your answer. NOTE: This debate is open only to those who want to be kind in their debate tactics. No name calling, belittling, etc. is aloud. https://media.nationalpriorities.org/uploads/budget-graphic.png Sources: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2018/02/03/the-u-s-government-is-set-to-borrow-nearly-1-trillion-this-year/?utm_term=.30c11dac1e09 https://www.nationalpriorities.org/budget-basics/federal-budget-101/spending/
