The use of biometric data for employers. Is this a good idea to increase efficiency or is it a blatant attack on the privacy and personal security of the employees?

I see no risks in giving my biometric data to an employer.
If my employer assures the data is protected I would give them my biometrics.
I'm not sure at this time. Will need to do more research.
I don't feel they can secure this data. I will not give out my biometrics until they can assure saftey, privacy and security.
I will never give my biometric data to an employer.
