The City of Stanwood is a member of the Association of Washington Cities Wellness Program. As a participant, the city must meet many stringent requirements throughout the year to qualify for the AWC WellCity Award. The AWC WellCIty Award winners receive a 2% discount on insurance premiums for employee healthcare. Stanwood has won the AWC WellCity Award nine years in a row. While many of the requirements focus on healthy eating and living, mental health and stress reduction are also a factor that need to be addressed. With that, city staff brought in pumpkins that they had decorated. With so many amazing entries we can't possibly choose a favorite......so we'll let you!
