No suspense here: Michael Schumacher led from vote one and never let go, opening at 100% on day one and settling into a crushing 86-91% share for the entire 510-day run. Ayrton Senna held a distant, steady second the whole way, never closing the gap.
By the final count Schumacher banked 15,396 of 17,726 votes (86.9%) to Senna's 1,899 (10.7%) — an 8-to-1 rout. Juan Manuel Fangio, Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell, Jackie Stewart, and Nelson Piquet split the scraps, none topping 1.2%. Ten countries, from the US to Albania, all leaned the same way.
