What we collect

When you log in with Facebook, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We store this to identify your account.

If you grant the optional permissions during login, we also receive, from Facebook: your gender, age range, general location (city/country), the Pages you like, and the friends of yours who also use this app. These are optional — you can decline any of them in Facebook's login screen and still use the app. When location isn't available from Facebook, we may infer your country from your IP address. We use gender, age, and location only to show aggregate, anonymised voter demographics on polls (e.g. "56% male", "most votes from Italy") — never tied to your identity; likes and friends are used to personalise your profile and suggestions.

When you create or vote on polls, we store the poll content and your vote. Votes on public polls are visible as aggregate counts — we do not display who voted for what.

How we use it

  • To show your name on polls you create
  • To prevent you from voting twice on the same poll
  • To send you notifications about your polls (if enabled)

We do not sell your data. We do not serve ads based on your personal information.

Facebook data

We access only the permissions you grant during login: your public profile and email, and — if you allow them — your gender, age range, location, liked Pages, and the friends who also use this app. All are optional and revocable in your Facebook settings. We do not access your timeline or any other Facebook data beyond what is listed here.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No third-party tracking cookies.

Data retention

Your account and polls are kept as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time — see our data deletion page.
