This one couldn't make up its mind. Ayrılmalı opened on top, Ayrılmamalı grabbed it by day 2, and the two sides traded the lead four separate times before day 18 — after that, Ayrılmalı held a razor-thin 51% edge for the next 37 days straight, only stretching to 52% at the very end.
The stranger twist is where the votes came from. Türkiye cast the single largest bloc — 72 votes — and broke for Ayrılmamalı, the option that ultimately lost. Everywhere else combined (US, Russia, Germany, France) barely totaled 8 votes, yet the global tally still finished 51.7% to 48.3% against the country that voted hardest.
- Four lead flips · The standings reversed four separate times before settling by day 18
- Türkiye backed the loser · The largest voting bloc (72) favored Ayrılmamalı, which lost overall
- Final margin: razor-thin · Ayrılmalı won by just 3.4 points, 51.7% to 48.3%
