In a Facebook poll of 2,707 respondents, 59.1% chose “Carlos Tevez”. How we count
Carlos Tevez didn't just win this poll, he out-drew the entire rest of the field by himself: 1,600 votes to a combined 1,107 for Riise, Vagner Love, Kuranyi, Nene, Santa Cruz and Almeida together. His floor never dipped below 56% even in the poll's softest stretch, and by day 8 he'd rebuilt back to 59.1% — the same territory he opened in.
Where identity data exists, the picture sharpens further. Türkiye supplied the heaviest block of located votes and leaned almost entirely his way, and in the slice of voters with known gender, his backers were essentially all men. Riise, the closest challenger, never cracked 13% — a distant second in a race that was really Tevez against the field.
- Outvoted the field · 1,600 votes for Tevez topped the other six candidates' 1,107 combined
- Rock-solid floor · Support never fell below 56% across all 8 days
- Turkish stronghold · Türkiye's located votes leaned overwhelmingly toward Tevez
- Distant runner-up · Riise's 12.3% never came close to threatening the lead
