Quaresma opened above 87% on day one and never dipped under 82% across 20 days — a margin so wide that the other four candidates spent the whole poll fighting over table scraps. Buonanotte, the closest challenger, topped out around second place with just 8% of the final 2,612 votes.
This wasn't a debate, it was a coronation: 109 of 112 gender-tagged Quaresma votes came from men, Turkish voters backed him hardest of any country sampled, and the also-rans — Baştürk, Gudjohnsen, Sapara — combined for under 10% between them.
