Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi grabbed the lead on day one with half the vote and never let go. CHP stayed the permanent runner-up, hovering 20+ points back for the entire 157-day stretch — this wasn't a race, it was a rout that just kept confirming itself.
The real story is who showed up: men cast 248 of the 253 gender-tagged votes across every party, including 89-to-12 for MHP itself. AKP and DP votes were effectively all-male. Turkey supplied the bulk of located votes but actually leaned CHP, while scattered voters abroad in Austria and Australia broke for MHP.
- Zero lead changes · MHP topped the standings from day 1 through day 157.
- Gender lopsided · 248 of 253 gender-tagged votes came from men.
- Home vs. diaspora split · Turkey-based voters leaned CHP; Austria and Australia leaned MHP.
- Runaway margin · MHP's 46.3% beat CHP's 25.5% by nearly 21 points.
