Murat Aksu opened above 60% and closed at 58% - a margin that barely moved across all 12 days of voting. Every single check-in landed him between 57% and 60%, an outcome so settled that late-arriving votes changed nothing: he outpolled the other three options combined, 3,114 votes to 2,256.

The real story is what didn't happen behind him: the opposition never combined into a single threat. "Daha İyi Bir Adaya" - a none-of-the-above option - pulled 24.9%, nearly double what actual rival Yıldırım Demirören managed at 13.3%. A protest choice outperforming a named candidate meant the anti-Aksu vote split itself before it could ever close the gap.
