Devlet Bahçeli opened at 38% on day one and never let go, cruising to 52 days of uncontested command with 36.9% and 2,253 votes. Osman Pamukoğlu chased from behind the entire time, never closer than a few points, settling for silver at 26.3%.
Deniz Baykal and Mustafa sarıgül trailed further still, finishing at 19.2% and 11.6%. The real split hides in the sample: men outvoted women roughly 10 to 1 across every candidate — Bahçeli alone drew 44 male votes to just 4 female. Turkish voters carried the poll outright, 53 of the counted entries, with the U.S. and Serbia both breaking Bahçeli's way too.
