Milliyetçi Hareket Partisi opened day 1 at 47% and never let go. The margin cooled but the order never budged — MHP stayed on top through all 31 days, closing at 38.1% (2,177 votes) with zero lead changes recorded. Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi held a steady second, edging Adalet ve Kalkınma Partisi by just 1.1 points, 21.9% to 20.8%, for the whole race.

The real split hides in the crowd, not the scoreboard. Turkish voters themselves actually leaned toward CHP's Deniz Baykal, even as MHP ran away with the global tally — a homeland-vs-worldwide divide. And CHP pulled relatively more women than any rival: 5 of its 35 identified voters, versus just 2 of MHP's 29 and 1 of AKP's 13.

  • Wire-to-wire lead · MHP led from day 1's 47% through day 31's 38%, no changes.
  • Turkey vs. the world · Home-country voters leaned CHP while MHP won globally.
  • Tight silver medal · CHP beat AKP for second place by just 1.1 points.
  • CHP's female edge · CHP drew the highest share of women voters of any option.
