From the opening day, 2-الطاهرة من المغرب grabbed the lead and never let go — up 36% over رانية من مصر on day 1, and still on top when the last of 8,412 votes landed 16 days later. No rival ever overtook her; the race simply calcified around a stable 34% cushion by day 4 and held there for the rest of the run.

The final tally stayed brutally tight: 34.5% for الطاهرة, 33.2% for رانية, 32.3% for مهدي — a 183-vote spread across three finalists. Home turf decided it: Morocco backed الطاهرة, Egypt backed رانية, Algeria and Tunisia backed مهدي, turning the poll into a proxy map of national loyalty.

  • Wire-to-wire leader · الطاهرة led from day 1 through day 16 with zero lead changes
  • 183-vote margin · Only 108 votes separate 2nd and 3rd place at the finish
  • Country loyalty split · Morocco, Egypt, and Algeria each backed their own hometown candidate
  • Gender skew · رانية drew nearly 4x more female than male backers (426 vs 132)
