Pilsner Urquell led throughout the beer poll, but its final advantage over Gambrinus was only 2.0 points. It finished with 22.5%, compared with Gambrinus at 20.5%, in a field of 16 brands and alternatives.

The result was a plurality, not a mandate: 288 votes separated Pilsner Urquell from the rest of the field combined only by its narrow lead over second place.
