From the first ballots, believers dominated — Oui opened at 84% and never once trailed. There was no comeback to write, no nail-biter: just a wall of confidence that held for nearly two months straight across 5,506 votes.

Confidence actually grew with time. Oui's share climbed from 84% early on to 87% by day 17 and settled at 88% for the final stretch through day 58, ending at 87.5% overall (4,819 votes) versus 12.5% (687) for Non — conviction hardening, not fading.

  • No turning point · Oui led wire-to-wire across all 58 days, zero lead changes.
  • Confidence climbed · Oui's share rose from 84% early to 88% in the final stretch.
  • Male-heavy sample · Among gendered votes, men outnumbered women roughly 8-to-1 on both sides.
