إحتمالات نقل السلطة فى مصر
In a Facebook poll of 2,472 respondents, 40.7% chose “تنحى مبارك وتفويض السلطة للجيش”. How we count
From the very first ballot, one answer — Mubarak steps down and hands power to the army — held the top spot the entire run. Across 2,472 votes, its share barely moved: about 40% on day one, still 40.7% at the close, dipping only briefly into the high 30s early. No rival closed enough ground to make this a real race.
Look past the winner and a bigger pattern shows: six in ten votes wanted Mubarak out entirely, whether the army, his deputy, or nobody inherited power. The other four in ten preferred handing over authority without him resigning, or an outright army takeover. Geography split the room too — Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE backed the army handover, while U.S. voters leaned toward a reforming army coup instead.
- Steady from day one · Held roughly 40% of the vote every single day of the run
- Runner-up reshuffled · Second place flipped once, around day 21, but never closed the gap
- Exit consensus · 6 in 10 votes backed some form of Mubarak stepping down
- Home vs. diaspora split · Egypt and Gulf voters backed army handover; U.S. voters leaned toward reform coup
