Seems interest in Russia and Russian is moving up among U.S. students. (http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2009/12/15/russian). What do you think?

Sounds good to me. Russia is still a big world player.
I'd think we here should be more interested in China and Chinese.
India is emerging fast on the world scene. We should focus more on it.
Whatever happened to the theory everyone would speak English?
