Is it ever a good idea for a guy to wear a "wife beater" tank top out in public?

NO- Not unless you want to be mistaken for a criminal and be locally famous for appearing on an episode of cops.
NO- Didn't people stop wearing those thing in the 1990's?
Yes- It would be ok to wear one doing daily errands such as grocery shopping.
Yes- I wear a wife beater during all occasions, slap a tie on it and cal it formal wear.
