Which of these reasons for not wanting to pursue a relationship, that I have actually been told, is the most ridiculous?

“You’re too intelligent”

“I can’t be with someone who isn’t going anywhere, who has no money, and is doing nothing with their life” (Whilst in final year of uni)

“I feel as though I have to share myself and I just can’t say no to people”

“I need to be on my own for a while” (10 days before having a new bf)

“You’re too posh”

“I think things are moving a bit too fast” (after knowing me for 2 years, and dating for 2 months)

“I’ve just checked your pictures on here, and you seem like a ladies man” (having known me 7 years)

“You’re too young for me, weird and you make me feel uncomfortable” (one week before calling me to ask why I wasn’t pursuing things, and had I found someone else)

“You look too much like my ex bf” (After 2 months of dating, and 2 weeks in a relationship)

“I would but I’m sleeping with my boss and he said he is going to leave his wife for me”

“I don’t really have time, I only finish work at 6 on week nights”
